Practical Uses for 3D Printing In-Person

Do you see the need for a gadget that will make life easier at work or will fix something at home; but that plastic part is too expensive or doesn’t exist?  3D printing is becoming the solution to this problem. We can show you examples of solutions people have come up with, where to find free models to download or adapt and how to create your own if you can’t find the answer in an online repository.

Join Seamus Carmichael in the Library Technology Sandbox and explore designing and printing your own 3D Hack using free software and the library’s 3D printers. Bring your laptop and mouse or sign up quick, and the first three people can use our PCs.
