Design a 3D Print for Valentine’s Day! - (or Anti-Valentine's Day) In-Person / Online

Do you want to make a personalized gift for a loved one? Or would you prefer to design something that says Valentine’s Day is overrated? Join Michael Cote for a FREE introduction to 3D modeling using TinkerCad, a free, web-based application. Participants will learn how to build 3D models by combining and subtracting shapes to create a seasonally themed project. After completing the model, participants will learn how to submit designs for 3D printing with the library (Every PSH and COM faculty, staff, and student have 100 grams worth of free 3D prints. After that, it is as low as $0.05 per gram).

There will be two project options for this workshop; a heart shaped candy box, and a valentine’s robot.

Workshop will be held in-person in the Library’s Technology Sandbox (C1620K) and on Zoom. In-person attendees should bring a laptop to work from, but there are a few PC’s in the room available on a first come first served basis.
