Searching the Health Professions Education Literature Like An Expert In-Person
Join Nancy Adams to learn how to construct a search of health professions' education literature using a search topic of their choice.
We will explore the use of three databases available through Harrell Health Sciences Library: PubMed, ERIC, and PsycInfo.
Participants will learn how to:
- Construct a search appropriate for health sciences education research using PubMed’s Medical Subject Headings (MeSH terms)
- Demonstrate ability to access PubMed, PsycInfo, ERIC, and MedEdPortal
- Describe the differences between the most important health sciences education literature databases: PubMed, PsycInfo, ERIC, and MedEdPortal
