The Harrell Health Sciences Library: Research and Learning Commons is hosting the Day of Making where we will be demonstrating several pieces of technology on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

    Between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, we will be providing demos, short tutorials, and showcasing some completed projects using technology such as 3D printing, 3D modeling, virtual reality, data visualization, and game design using Unity. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.

    Join us in the library’s Technology Innovation Sandbox at noon for a lecture, “Transplantation of Bioprinted Tissues and Organs” given by Dr. Dino Ravnic, Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Ravnic has been collaborating with researchers at University Park to investigate the integration of adult stem cells and bioprinting for the correction of tissue and organ dysfunction.
