Reading Joyce, Singing Joyce Online
Wednesday June 16th is Bloomsday, the day when lovers of James Joyce's novel "Ulysses" celebrate the epic walk around Dublin taken by Stephen Daedalus and Leopold Bloom. Joyce uses lots of Folk song to create an accompanying sound track. Seamus Carmichael can let you hear some of the songs and will read passages where an Irish accent may enlighten you.
